Hi Helene, Finally found your blog. The link you provided took me to someone else's page from 2002, so I had to google it. I share your feelings regarding Lisa Yskovage. When she "burst" on the scene few years ago, the rave reviews of her work mystified me. Besides being somewhat insulting (unless one indulges in torturous speculation and justification,) it is gratuitously ugly! It seems a shame that she uses her considerable talent to such ends. I looked at the video of her recent work and she seems to be moving away from the cartoon depictions, but the pornographic content is more overt. At any rate, it didn't fill me with disgust like her earlier stuff! I look forward to checking out the rest of your blog when I have a bit more time. Abby
